Images that look like you, not like you tried too hard.
Brand photography for small business owners, founders, and the self-employed. Based in West Yorkshire, working across the North and beyond.
The problem with most brand shoots
You book a photographer. You turn up. You stand somewhere and smile. You get a folder of images back and think… that’s not really me, is it?
That’s not what happens here.
What makes this different?
Before we ever pick up a camera, we talk. About your business, your brand, what you want people to feel when they find you online. About what you’re nervous about, what you hate about photos of yourself, and what you’d love to finally have.
Then I build the shoot around that.
The result isn’t a generic set of “business owner holding a coffee” shots. It’s a collection of images that genuinely reflect who you are and what you do, the kind you actually want to use.
What people say
“OMG i love them soo much, thank you, thank you! The atmosphere, the vibe of them all, honestly, you’ve done such an incredible job. Just wanted to let you know how grateful I am to have been able to work with you on those, because you made it so easy!”
— Julie WIld“What really impressed me was Jo's creativity. We weren't working in a huge space, but she was incredibly resourceful and found so many different angles, backdrops and opportunities to create unique images. She made the most of every part of the location and achieved far more variety than I thought possible.
She is also exceptionally talented at working with natural daylight. The photographs feel authentic and professional, without looking overly staged. Most importantly, she managed to capture personality as well as professionalism,”
— Ellie (Ellipsa interior design) “I think I said this before, but in case I didn't. I have so much love and respect genuinely skilled, creative people. And so, I never wanted a photo shoot. I wanted to collaborate on something creative. To bring ideas together and see what happens.
And so, I only wanted to work with you. Which meant I was confident I'd get something amazing. But this Jo, this is beyond what I dreamed. Truly.
I feel privileged to work with you”

How it feels on the day
Calm. Unhurried. Like working with someone who actually wants you to look good.
I shoot alone, in natural light, with a single camera. No big crew, no studio lights, no pressure to perform. Just you, your story, and someone who knows how to find the best version of both.
A lot of my clients tell me afterwards that they were dreading it — and ended up enjoying it more than they expected. That’s the bit I love most.
I have a small number of summer slots left.
If you've been thinking about getting your brand photos done before the year moves on — this is the moment. I shoot in natural light, with no big crew and no pressure. Just you, your story, and someone who actually wants you to look good.
Most clients tell me afterwards they were dreading it. And ended up enjoying it more than they expected.
Summer sessions are booking now for July and August. Once they're gone, the next availability is autumn.
